Ashley Ivanov is an experienced attorney who currently focuses her practice on helping families and individuals with probate and estate planning. She previously clerked for the federal government and worked for large, mid-size and small law firms.
"My experience with working on mediation-related matters and representing parties in contested and uncontested proceedings has prepared me to run for judge. I believe in respecting others and listening to others, both in court and outside of court," said Ashley. "My litigation work representing plaintiffs and defendants has brought me before the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Tampa. Since founding my own law firm, I have been able to be more involved in community service and offer complimentary seminars to Hillsborough County residents."
Ashley finds joy in volunteering and community service through her church in Brandon, FishHawk-Riverview Rotary, and the Hillsborough County Bar Association in Tampa. You may see her at Feed the Bay, Trinity Cafe, A Kid's Place, and other venues. She is also an active member of Chambers of Commerce in Hillsborough County and is a leader of a local BNI Chapter.
Born in Charleston, SC, Ashley graduated from The George Washington University, where she was a member of the Women's Leadership Program and where her article on the politics of judicial selection was published. She did pro bono work while at Vermont Law School. Her interest in public service has finally led to her decision to run for judge. Ashley is a mother and wife. Her husband, who is an alum of the FBI Tampa Citizens Academy, and their daughter, who is a Girl Scout, are involved in community service as well.
